Go check out the Connections light display in Lindenwood as part of the Sertoma Club fundraiser. Dave with Sertoma graciously donated a free light display and they also give non-profits a free display area. The park is open from Dec 1st to the 31st. Cars are $5 and busses are $10.

With Santa hats and buckets of candy 38 of our clients and staff walked and rode our new bus in the Fargo-Moorhead Holiday of Lights Parade on November 25. There was no snow but it was chilly and we joined 93 other floats in this annual winter event. While tons of kids enjoyed the candy, the adults were given a business card with information about our services in our effort to let others know who we are and what we do! Thank you for everyone who helped to make this a successful and fun event.
Giving Back
The Connections staff have been caught giving back to the community through the Adopt-a-Highway program. If you were traveling down I29 recently between mile marker 9-11 and you saw some orange vests, yellow garbage bags, and fourteen people doing the mosquito dance, you witnessed this event in progress!

Halloween Party
Local Moorhead businesses and Connections sponsored a Halloween Party. Over 130 people attended the event on October 29, 2008 held at the Hjemkomst Center. A local DJ provided the music and a local business provided the decorations and refreshments! The winner of the costume contest was ELVIS!
All Staff Meeting
Our Connections All Staff meeting was held on Columbus Day, October 13, 2008 at the Hjemkomst Center. We are proud to recognize our staff who have worked for Connections for 10, 15 and 20 years!
